    Bamboo crazy game is a game that originated from Maluku city that became a tradition and has its own mystical energy for the locals. The game is already exist in the Moluccas before the spread of Islam and Christian religion. How to play a very simple bamboo crazy, the players just hug and curb soaring bamboo moving at will the handler.
    Before the game started crazy bamboo, the handler must burn incense using coconut shell. Then the smoke from the "incorporated" into the bamboo. This process is important in this game, because without this process something magical will not be coming in and moving bamboo.
    When something supernatural has been entered, then bamboo by itself will move. The players have embraced and curbing the power of the bamboo in the handler. Throughout the game, the handler continues to control the bamboo with spells shouting, "hey baramasuwel!" Bamboo will not stop moving until the handler ordered him to stop. The players are required to wear a shirtless attributes all in red, including the pants and headband. The game takes place to the accompaniment of music, the music that accompanies the faster, wilder and faster movement on the bamboo. Generally, traditional game is played by seven people, or it could be more depending on the length of the bamboo used.

 

Pencak Silat

Pencak Silat is a traditional game at the same time martial arts are quite popular in Indonesia. This game originated from West Sumatra. martial arts organization in Indonesia is the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association or commonly abbreviated as IPSI. Organization that embodies federations of martial arts in various countries is Pencak Silat Inter-Nation Alliance or PERSILAT.Pencak Silat Indonesia has at least 5 functions, namely:As an information center, education, presentation and promotion of various matters relating to Pencak Silat.
    As the center of various activities related to the preservation, development, deployment and image enhancement Pencak Silat and its values.
    As a means to strengthen the unity and cohesion of society Indonesian Pencak Silat.
    As a means to strengthen friendship between the people of Pencak Silat in various countries.
    As a means to promote human 2 Pencak Silat code of conduct, namely: who was patiently Indonesia and Pledge Prasetya who was patiently.

  

Bakiak

Bakiak, is the one of popular game in many circle in Indonesia, especially in the village. Bakiak is game derived from Sumatra Barat. This game usually played when the celebration day such as independence day and else, as a compitition.

well..... the first thing that I want to tell you is about the material of this game: that's made of long wood that smoothed in the surface, so it's look like ice skating. But the different is in the surface of the wood there are slippers on it. This game is usually played by 3-4 people, no matter who they are, either childreen or teenagers or even adult people can play it, then we have to make a goup, for each group have one pair of bakiak, so they can use to put their feet on both of bakiak.

And the second one is about how we play this game: well, after every players put their feet on the slippers, they must to be able to move their feet together, and as it was so, otherwise they may fall on the ground and that mean's they failed. Because the rule of this game is who one that can reach the finish line, in this case the group. so they will be the winner of the competition.

And the value that we can learn from this game is testing agility, leadership, teamwork, creativity, insight and honesty.

Really fun game.....!!! :-) 

MARSIAYAK ULU

Marsiayak ulu is a traditional game from south tapanuli. Usually played by some childreen at the swimming pool or river. To play this game needed swim skill to the players. To play must have a chaser or called pengayak. When pengayak said ''sabur'', so other players have to jump to the swimming pool or river. Then pengayak will try to catch their head or called ulu. They should dive as long as possible to avoid pengayak If pengayak can catch head from a player, so she/he will be the next pengayak.
